I read the first few books and enjoyed the pace

I read the first few books and enjoyed the pace, the action, the adventure, and the promising characters. However, it took me almost three months to read this book. It was mostly one long, drawn out battle with so many rapidly changing scenes it was hard to keep track of all the characters and events! Though there is plenty of action, the typos in the book serve as embarrassing interruptions. What I disliked most about the book though, was it was highly unoriginal. The twists and turns were almost identical to plots of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, just with different character names. Some of the similarities were just so uncanny it seemed like plagiarism. Since I had already started the series I had to finish it but I will not be rereading this one again.

I really enjoyed reading the whole series of the Lost city Chronicles.
My favorite characters was Cody and Jade. They were well divergent characters. Lots of good humor, action and emotion was displayed very well though out the story. Daniel did a wonderful job of creating a fantasy complex world. There was a lot of plot twist and surprises in the Earthly Trinity that Ii did not expect.

I loved this entire trilogy. The last book was fast-paced and still managed to pull out plot twists that I didn't expect. Great for young readers and adults.
