He is the founder of the International Journal of Organization Analysis, the International Journal of Conflict Management, the International Association for Conflict Management, the International Conference on Advances in Management, and the International Conference on Social Intelligence. Dr. Rahim is extensively involved in publishing in the field, with over 117 credits to his name as an author or editor. He has also written book chapters, case studies, research instruments, and conference papers. His articles have appeared in the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Management, the Journal of Small Business Management, and Multivariate Behavioral Research. His current research interests are conflict management and the social and emotional intelligence of leaders.

Great & Easy Read for Management

I used this for my Management 210 class. I really enjoyed this book because it went right along with the notes for the class. This book was an easy and interesting read because it relates to student perspective.The professor wrote the book himself so if you haven't attended class for that day you can follow the book with your notes and be caught up. I recommend you buy the book if you are in Rahim's class or if you are going to use this book to write a paper or lessons for a management class.

I found this book to be very helpful when taking my Organization and management course. It was very easy to follow and had a lot of good sources in it for back up. I also liked how it included many case studies within it, so you could see how to use organization and management skills in everyday life. I would recommend any one getting ready to enroll to purchase.

This book skips the unnecessary content in most books and provides clear material.

I'm proud to say that my very own college professor, Dr. Rahim, edited this book. When he first told us that this would be the required reading for the course, I was already excited because of the cost. It's incredibly cheaper than most Management books you'll find in college bookstores that run for well over $100.
While I was reading this material, I realized that I had never understood the material so easily in a class. The chapters are a little shorter than usual chapters and provide a simple message and lesson. Although you think this book may lack essential material with short chapters, it really doesn't and provides time benefits for any busy student. This book simply skips over the unessential content that most textbooks contain and gives the reader a clear lesson.
Not only does the content of this book relate to only management, but I feel that this material can be relevant to every day life as well. It makes a good connection with how treating employees and organizations is similar to everyday relationships in life.
The review exercises of this book are great as well. Each chapter has its own unique exercise and a case study to make the reader critically think and put the material into practical use.
In short, I believe all Management classes should use this book for class. I can't imagine having gone through mine without having it to guide me.
