Not really worth the trouble

For convenience, I give it an A. For the fact that it's actually missing a few pictures and charts (pretty important ones too), I give it a D. Not to mention the fact that the maturation diagram that's in there is a little hard to read on the ebook even if you zoom it in (and if you don't know the maturation sequence already, this is just a pain). There's a chart in the spiral bound book that lists all the different WBCs and how to differentiate them plus quite a bit of extra information but its not in the ebook. I really came to miss this chart during classes and labs. If you're going to school and need this for a class, I definitely say get the actual book (I wish I had). If you already work in the lab and just want a reference, then you'd probably be fine with the ebook.

On the recommendation of a coworker, I bought this and used it as a reference during application season. Thanks to it, a lot of online forum reading, the Manhattan GMAT study guides, and advice from several mentors, I was accepted into every program that I applied to and just finished my first day at Wharton. As mentioned time and time again in the book, it won't tell you exactly how to fill out your applications or what to write in your essays, but it offers a road map that others have used to gain acceptance. By the time I hit my final "Submit Application" button, I had dog earned about half of the pages in my copy of the book and viewed it as an incredibly integral part of my application success stories.

Worth it's weight in gold

If you were looking for from this book is a secret that will help you get over any potential hurdles you face (or have already made) this book probably ain't for you. There are no secrets in (nor does the author claim there to be) this book just demystifies and puts into context the application process at top universities, its very broad. The insights from deans of admissions from top schools are also tremendously useful. So many people rule themselves out before the ever stand and this books really helps you guage if not your chances, but your potential. Great buy.

Takes a bit of time but still fun

I know its silly, but I feel like I am being somewhat artistic when I do some of these nail art designs. Its fun and creative, some take a bit of time but its worth it for the feeling of accomplishment and plethora of compliments!

I've been in the market for some simple nail art instruction books for my husband of all things. He recently decided he wanted to learn some because our young daughter loves having her nails done and he's a good artist so why shouldn't he be able to do it?

SPECTACULAR NAIL ART turned out to be just the sort of book that's great for a beginner. The ideas and styles are all pretty simple and well instructed. But they're just that, the basics. If you're looking for some really different or fresh ideas this really doesn't have them. I've seen most of these already done in other books and on Pinterest multiple times. With that in mind this might be a great choice for a child or tween who is learning or for someone who doesn't regularly access the internet. Otherwise it's just too basic and the concepts so common that it doesn't offer anything special.

It's not too bad

This is a simple and cute book for early the teenager, my daughter was very pleased with the simple and cute designs. The only reason I give this a 3 star rating is because I ordered this as a new product. When I received it there were finger print smudges over numerous pages, not pleased. If I wanted a used product I would have ordered a used product. . But all in all it's a neat book with about 20 ideas if I'm not mistaken.

This is the first story I read by this author and I found it... stimulating. Kingsgate has a gift for creating scenes that feel real. It's a short story, so we don't have a lot of time to get to know Abbey and David, but I found myself rooting for their relationship. The sex was great! This is one you'll read and re-read, and then read several more times.
