Good for reading the market and an example of a badly written book.

I was expecting a trading system. This book falls short of this. Raghee give the reader an over view of three entry set ups. She gives the reader examples of different market modes. A promise in the book was a future book of all her trades ( looking over her shoulder) but it never came out. Her style of writing is scattered and the book needs to be revised at least three more times. She states she was an English major in college but never finished a degree. She gets off topic allot which makes me wonder what her grades were in college. She also states she is a lawyer in training and this talent comes out by dancing around a full training system for the different market modes. The book lacks allot of details. Lastly, she seems she is up selling you to a mentor service. Her income streams seem to come from market commentary in the media, mentor service, books, promoting software and working for a FOREX brokerage. I am still wondering if she makes any money in the FOREX or futures market.

She coulld make it better

In general the content is good, it's simple and I (as a trader) thing her methods or setups are effective because again they are simple and basics (KISS) but her explanation are not good.
Sometimes I thought her explanations were nothing about their related charts or may be it was because I couldn't read the graphs.
And the charts are very small, they can't be smaller and harder to read at all.
The prices is too high for the contents and its charts.
If you want a brief of this book: ....There is not Holy Grail, go back to the basics and simple methods that she explained.

not what I expected after other interesting reviews

this book is not for beginners, also the tech used is the first time I saw it after many books , that Wave and that Clock far from easy to get, also there is a lack of pinpoint when the author is explaining graphics, like other books, I which I have the CD but the one I received was useless , it did not opened in any of my three laptops.

Does not deserve to be America's #1 pregnancy book

I just read this book cover to cover. No, seriously. And man, am I glad I was not pregnant at the time.

This is far from the first pregnancy/childbirth/parenting book I've ever read. I'm a health and research nut, and a librarian, so I do a lot of research and reading before I do anything. I try to consult a variety of sources from different viewpoints. Since this is the #1 most-recommended pregnancy book, I figured I might as well read this one too and see what all the fuss is about. I have yet to figure it out.

1) The main issue I have with this book is the clear lack of research that went into it. There are absolutely ZERO references in the entire book (and it is a beast of a book). The author's credentials also seem to be limited to a) she's a mom, and b) she is the author of this book. Yet she spouts "knowledge" and information like it's gospel. The forward is written by an esteemed OB/GYN, and I can see why he endorses the book, which I will point out below, but as for any type of verified medical or research-based advice, that is it. She tells you exactly what to do, but offers nothing in the way of an explanation about why you should do it. Oh, she says "Do this because . . . ." and "Studies show . . . " but gives no names or authors of those studies so that you can check it out for yourself. Maybe that works for some people, but not for me. I need more than the word of one woman who happened to have two children and write a book about it.

2) This book perpetuates (possibly unintentionally) an increasingly disturbing (and increasingly outdated) "medical management" view of pregnancy and childbirth. The author repeatedly tells you not to worry about your pregnancy, but goes on to list the MYRIAD ways something could very possibly go wrong if you don't exactly follow her advice. There's nothing wrong with being aware of the various pregnancy complications, but the tone of this book is very "Do absolutely everything your practitioner says and don't worry your pretty little head." Every single question is answered with "Ask your practitioner." There is a section near the beginning about making sure you have a practitioner whom you like and respect, but basically, as long as you find someone you're socially compatible with, that person's word is it. Especially during the childbirth section, she describes the various medical interventions as inevitable, doesn't discuss the reasons WHY such procedures are performed, doesn't cite studies about how effective or ineffective they are, doesn't mention or explain informed consent AT ALL (I mean, if your practitioner ordered it, don't ask questions, just go with it), and shows a strong bias for OB/GYNs, hospital births, C-sections (after all, almost one-third of women in the U.S. give birth that way -- don't you want to as well?), and all the pain-relief drugs you can get your (and your baby's, I might add) hands on. Again, there is nothing wrong with choosing an OB/GYN, a hospital birth, or pain-relief drugs -- but women deserve to have all of their options (and studies demonstrating the pros and cons thereof) laid out for them without scaring them into just doing everything their practitioner says. Again, I can see why the author of the forward endorses this book and it's routinely handed out at prenatal appointments: it begets compliant patients who don't ask questions. God forbid you be "difficult" when someone is just trying to help you have a healthy baby!

3) The lack of alternative viewpoints is astounding. Obviously every pregnancy/childbirth book has its own ideology, but for a book that claims to include everything you need to know about pregnancy and childbirth, it should not take a one-size-fits-all approach. So many women only ever read this book and aren't even aware that other philosophies (with actual research to back them up) exist.

Times are changing. More and more women want to take research- and evidence-based approaches to something as important as conceiving, carrying, and giving birth to their children. Blind faith in the medical profession is no longer the norm. This book is an outdated remnant of a dangerous and uninformed past --giving it to every pregnant woman just prolongs the torture (and those compliant patients everyone seems to want).

Doctor's wife says, "This is my favorite baby book!"

I am blown away by the apparent anger and distaste the last reviewer has for this wonderfully educational and clinically relevant book. I referenced this book throughout my first pregnancy and review it weekly to refresh myself on various topics with my current pregnancy. It also saves you from having to call your doctor every day unnecessarily. However, the book will always encourage you to contact your doctor if you're unsure. I was a pharmaceutical rep for over 10 years and called on many OB/GYNs, so I also recognize well written material when I see it. Naturally some people will choose not to opt for sushi (which means wrapped in rice and is okay if it's vegetarian or cooked), Sashimi (raw fish) or cold cuts due to the RISK of contamination. I would much rather be warned of POTENTIAL issues versus being blindsided by them. At least then, you have the option of making and educated decision about you and the health of your baby. If you are looking for a great guide for the next 8 or 9 months, this is a terrific choice. By the way, congratulations on your new little one!

This book is an essential item if you or your significant other is pregnant. I nor my wife really planned to learned too much from the book but were surprised by the wealth of knowledge it held. This book will walk you through the pregnancy step by step from day 1 of pregnancy through delivery and beyond. Unfortunately for myself I purchased this book while my wife was pregnant with my first child and I was completely unaware of all of the things that could potentially go wrong during pregnancy. After reading this book I knew exactly what to expect and also worried sick about the possibilities of complications but even though I was drinking pepto bismal by the quart I was better off understanding the possibility of problems, how to recognize them and what to do. The author is a subject matter expert and I recommend this book to all expectant mother and fathers.

I really like the way that this book is set up mainly by area of concern in mental health... I'm giving it 4/5 stars because the chapters really should be ordered a bit differently... Seriously, ch 7 and then ch 31 are pharmacology? How does that make sense?
Anyways- the material is really interesting and there are a lot of cool outside sources brought it. It's definitely a great book for psych nursing.

Would recommend. Get the kindle version if you can- this book is pretty big.

This is an excellent book that can be used to help students with concepts in print, phonics, phonemic awareness, making connections, and letter-sound recognition.

The book contains over 700 ideas and activities to promote essential reading and writing readiness skills.

The book contains hundreds of teacher friendly reproducibles and suggestions for thematic units. The book has a table of contents which is divided into 32 small sections.

The sections include how to use this book, childrens' alphabet literature list, a few ideas for all letters, manuscript alphabet, letters A-Z, letters to parents, and an index of topical words by center.

Each of the lettered sections from A-Z, which can be found on pages 10-225, are divided into 7 basic sections: Lowercase and capital letter pages, ideas and activities for the letter, picture cards, word cards, trace and write, pattern, and my alphabet book.

The ideas and activities for the letter section contains some 32 different real-world and hands on ideas and activities associated with the corresponding letter.

For example, for the letter A students can make an awesome aunt award, measure their arm length, and learn about things associated with autumn. The letter B has over 46 ideas and activities.

This book is full of excellent ideas that can be adapted to each letter, or to a thematic unit for the full range of the curriculum, math, science, language arts, art, and social studies, etc.

The book provides lots of words that start with the letter and some ideas of things to do with those words. Ex. C is for car. Arrange cars to make a c. Paint a car. Etc. There are picture cards and word cards for each letter. There is a full page size of the uppercase and lowercase for each letter. There are trace and write pages where you practice writing the uppercase and lowercase letter for each page. Then there is a page where you write a few letters, write words that start with that letter and draw a picture of something that starts with that letter. This page would be too hard for my child as he can't write words yet. Overall it was ok, but I wish it had more reproducibles. I also don't need so many words and 20+ideas of things to do. I just felt like when it says over 700 activities that a lot of that was wasted stuff.

Perfect for the toddler in your house! We have alphabet homeschool in our house and do a letter a week. Couldn't ask for easier and better layout! Great to laminate and use over and over.
